The regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the McMinnville Housing Authority will be held at the Rebel Hill Community Room. The meeting will start at 6 p.m. and is open to the public.

TUESDAY, NOV. 27
The B&B Bird Watching Club will meet at 7 p.m. at Topz. Everyone who is interested in birds is welcome.
SATURDAY, DEC. 1
The 2018 McMinnville Christmas Parade will begin at 2:30 p.m. in downtown McMinnville. This year’s theme is Gingerbread Wonderland and all entries must be decorated in accordance with the theme.

There will be fish and chitlins served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Young Men United Community Center sponsored by the Brown Chapel Cemetery Committee.

The members of the Silver and Gold Community Band and their director Mike Chilcutt invite everyone to come and enjoy their Christmas concerts. The first will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2 at First Baptist Church, 403 N. Spring Street. The second concert will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at Three Star Mall. Gardens of Memory Cemetery is having a candlelight service Dec. 7. Candles will be lit from 4 to 5 p.m. with the service starting at 6 p.m. If it rains, the service will be rescheduled for Dec. 14. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.

Warren County Toy Ride is scheduled for Dec. 8 at noon. This is a Christmas fundraiser for needy children in the community. All toys and money are donated to the Rescue Squad for its annual Toy Drive.

Covenant Academy is holding a delightful breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at 1079 Country Club Drive. Tickets are $20 per person and feature a full breakfast. Call 668-6185.
