TODAY, JULY 3
A hamburger lunch will be held from noon to 2 p.m. at Centertown United Methodist Church on West Green Hill Road. All you can eat for $5. Proceeds go toward a mission trip to New Mexico.

Homecoming at Pleasant Knoll Church of Christ will be held with Russell Summers. Sunday School at 9 a.m., worship at 10 a.m., and lunch following morning services.

MONDAY, JULY 4
Leadership Warren will hold the Little Miss and Mister Firecracker Pageant at 11 a.m. on July 4 downtown. There are categories for all children under 6. Entrants should wear July 4 attire. For more information, call Tanarra at 273-3932.

McMinnville City Hall will be closed for July 4. Garbage service will be picked up along with Tuesday’s routes.

SATURDAY, JULY 9
The MS Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. in the B.C. Smoot Room at River Park Hospital with Dr. Harold Moses speaking.

Tony Gore will be singing at New Hope Church located on Bridge Builder’s Road in Newtown at 6 p.m.

Wesley Chapel will hold its annual homecoming with morning program at 11 a.m. and speaking by TBI director Mark Gwyn at 11:30 a.m. Events continue throughout the day with auction and donation walk for the cemetery at 5 p.m. Donations for cemetery upkeep may be made to Bob Sherwood, 1205 Sherwood Road, Morrison, Tenn., 37357. The monthly meeting of the Warren County Democratic Party will be held July 11 at 6 p.m. at the VFW.

Glory Mountain Camp Meeting will be held July 11-15 at 7 p.m. at Faith Trinity Academy in Spencer with evangelist Bill Borico.

The Southern Standard will hold Back to the ’60s at the fairgrounds July 16 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. with numerous activities throughout the day including live performances, entertainment, inflatables, and a car show. Cost is $5 at the door and $4 in advance at the Standard office.
