Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold a commodities distribution for Van Buren County from 9-11 a.m. at the Van Buren County Civic Center (Burritt College). Alzheimer’s “basics” will be offered at Magness Library on Feb. 15 at 9:30 a.m. The program is offered by the Tullahoma office of the Alzheimer’s Association as a way to educate the public about the disease. “Courageous” the movie will be shown Feb. 18 from 6-8:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church on Spring Street. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. There will be refreshments. The event is free.
Warren County CARES will be holding a Mardi Gras Dinner & Dance fundraiser with John Basinger at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the Warren County Senior Center. Tickets are $20 per person or $35 per couple prior to the event, or $40 per couple at the door. Dinner is at 6 p.m. with grilled steak as the entree.
