After taking down more than 800 streetlights in 2009, the city will be returning 321 in the near future. The reappearance of some streetlights is after McMinnville Public Works director Bill Brock and assistant director Brad Hennessee conducted a streetlight evaluation in the city looking for dark spots that are in need of a light.“Mr. Brock and I have conducted a streetlight evaluation over the last couple of weeks,” said Hennessee to city Street and Sanitation Committee members. “We have been riding the roads at night, after the LEDs were installed. We’ve identified 321 lights we would like to add.”The information was presented to Street and Sanitation Committee members Ryle Chastain, chairman and Steve Harvey.
