In a look toward the new year, McMinnville officials were asked to name one item they would like the city to accomplish in 2014 and why. Making the list are finding a new city administrator, Park Theatre completion, lowering property taxes, building a new McMinnville Police Department, adding a new walking trail, and setting plans for the Blue Building. Mayor Jimmy Haley wants to find a city administrator.“To find a city administrator who will facilitate and promote the goals and vision for a 21st century,” said Mayor Jimmy Haley.Haley was named interim city administrator in late August.
