Sparks flew Tuesday night between members of the McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen during a discussion about hiring a new city administrator.“I don’t know who would want to work for us,” said Alderman Billy Wood.The comment came after an update on the hiring process led to a heated debate that pointed to a board divided.Mayor Jimmy Haley opened the meeting by attempting to derail a vote on who to hire for the job, Bill Brock or Dan Collins.“This is just to provide an update on the process,” Haley said. “We are not taking any motions. We are not hiring an administrator tonight.
