Sentences were handed down by Judge Bart Stanley recently in Circuit Court. Included in sentencing:
• Amy Tibbetts was ordered to serve 210 days of a four-year sentence and make restitution for aggravated burglary, theft, and filing a false report.
• Kenneth Lawson was ordered to serve 115 days of a four-year sentence, perform 100 hours public service work and pay $5,000 plus court costs for delivery of marijuana and violation of the habitual traffic offender status.
• James Wray was instructed to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence for theft and vandalism. He was given an additional 150 days for violating his probation on his prior convictions on the charge of domestic assault.
• Deborah Merritt Knowles was instructed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence and was warned to stay out of Walmart for criminal trespass and theft. She was given an additional 90-day sentence for violating her probation on her prior conviction on the charge of grand theft.
• Jeri Bechman was ordered to serve 20 days of an 11-29 sentence and make restitution on two counts of passing worthless checks.
• Jennifer Majors was directed to serve 50 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $700 plus costs, lose her driver license for two years, and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for second-offense DUI.
• Rhonda McGahee was directed to serve 75 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $250 plus costs, perform 32 hours public service work, and lose her driver license for one year for third-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Edward Reeves was ordered to serve 50 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $100 plus costs, perform 40 hours public service work, and lose his driver license for one year for second-offense driving on a revoked license.
• Timothy Scott was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $400 plus costs, perform 32 hours public service work and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.
