Sentences were handed down this past week by Judge Bart Stanley in Circuit Court. Included in court action:• Michael D. Fernandez was ordered to serve 30 days of a four-year sentence, pay $3,697 restitution, and perform 25 hours public service work for theft and attempted burglary.• Robert A. Hutchins was given a three-year sentence but released on time served and accepted into the Adult Recovery Court on charges of burglary, theft and vandalism. He must also pay $1,835 and has requested a judicial diversion.• Stevi Rhiannon Powers was granted a two-year judicial diversion for attempted burglary and theft.• Destry Steven Cobb was directed to serve nine days of an 11-29 sentence and must attend counseling for assault.• Jason Lee Griffith was directed to serve 14 days of a one-year sentence and must forfeit his weapon for carrying a weapon as a convicted felon.• Luke Dewayne Hill was granted a two-year judicial diversion and must make $1,000 restitution for theft and burglary.• Amanda Nicole Workman was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence and must make restitution for theft.• Ronald Earl Collins was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $500 plus costs, perform 32 hours public service work and lose his driver license for one year for DUI.• Terry Lee Baucom Jr., was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence for driving on a revoked license.• James Earl Bennett was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence, perform 25 hours public service work and pay $75 plus costs for theft.• Timothy Eugene Mathis must pay $50 plus costs for driving on a suspended license.• Nichole M. Spradlin was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $2,777 restitution for criminal trespass and theft.• Terry M. Clayton was directed to serve 15 days of an 11-29 sentence and make $24 restitution to Walmart for theft.• Benito G. Castorene was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence for driving on a suspended license.• Dakota Benjamin Merriman must serve 48 hours and pay $10 plus costs for driving on a suspended license.• Dustin Clay Wilder was directed to serve 10 days of a three year sentence and pay $50 plus costs for third-offense driving on a suspended license.
