Prominent local businessman and community leader Carl M. Stanley died early Saturday morning at his home following a brief illness.Stanley was the owner of Burroughs-Ross-Colville (BRC), where he worked his way from salesman to president before purchasing the business in 1998. BRC manufactures and sells tool handles and lumber. The company also sells mulch.Ada Mai Church worked at BRC from 1949-2000.
