Durham School Services will be offering its second annual Giving the Gift of Safety Toy Drive to make Christmas a little brighter for some of its passengers this year. The event will be held in front of Big Lots this Sunday, with a second toy drive scheduled for Dec. 8. The hours of both toy drives are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Along with toys for children in K-5 grade, employees are asking for gently used or new coats for children in grades 6-12.The program was offered last year.
