The female member of a White County burglary duo got off far easier than her male counterpart as she got 199 days in jail, compared to the 10 years her partner in crime received for the same crimes.The woman, Savanna Jean Mahan, 28, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of aggravated burglary, theft and vandalism. She was ordered to serve 199 days of a three-year sentence and will be liable along with her co-defendant, Rodney William LaPointe, 25, to make restitution to the four victims of their string of break-ins. LaPointe is presently serving his 10-year sentence after entering his plea last month.The break-ins happened last summer beginning with a burglary from a Vervilla Road home.
