A man caught going the wrong way on a one-way street along with his brother was given probation on drug charges but could face jail time for burglarizing his mother’s home.The defendant, Charles Lewis Bryant, was issued an 11-month, 29-day probationary sentence by General Sessions Judge Larry Ross when he entered a guilty plea Tuesday to marijuana possession charges. He was also fined $500 plus court costs for the offense.While given probation for the drugs, Bryant was bound to the grand jury on charges of felony theft, aggravated burglary and felony vandalism and had his bond set at $25,000.His charges came after lawmen saw the car in which he was a passenger going the wrong way on Morford Street. When the car was stopped, Bryant’s brother, Clinton Bryant, was the driver.
