Public Defender Dan Bryant is announcing his candidacy for re-election in 2014. Bryant states, “It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as your public defender and I hope the citizens of Warren and Van Buren counties will allow me to continue for another term.” In addition to Bryant, the office staff includes assistant public defenders Scott Grissom and Richard Dorris, and office manager Wanda Fuson Cantrell.Bryant, a Van Buren County native, graduated from McMinnville Central High School and UT Knoxville and was a classroom teacher and coach at Irving College Elementary and Warren County Jr. High.
