A drunk driver with a child in the car was arrested by officers on bicycle patrol during the Back to The Strip last weekend.The woman, Brandi Bain, 27, is charged with DUI and reckless endangerment, the latter charge coming when police found a 5-year-old child in the back seat of her car.Police responded to a reckless driver call after someone reported seeing Bain swerve in and out of heavy traffic during Back to the Strip on Saturday night. They pinpointed her location when another report revealed she had driven over a sidewalk at the Shell Station on Smithville Highway.When officers Jared Jacobs and Corey Floyd arrived, they found the Chrysler Sebring with two flat tires, apparently from where it had slammed the curb. The officers, who were patrolling the special event on bicycle, were able to weave their way through the bumper-to-bumper traffic to catch the woman.
