Autumn Street Fair awaits
Rotator-ASF
Decorative pumpkins are a staple of the annual Autumn Street Fair.

With the first hint of fall weather, thoughts turn to the Autumn Street Fair which is set to fill the streets of downtown McMinnville on Saturday, Oct. 3, for its 21st year. Organizers expect the event to be bigger than ever before.
“There are usually about 15,000 patrons and over 200 vendors,” said organizer Brook Holmes. “It’s always impressive. It gets larger each year.”
Autumn Street Fair is a production of Leadership McMinnville’s class of 2015 through the Chamber of Commerce. Vendor booths typically sell out so reserve your spot today at autumnstreetfair.com. In addition to the wide range of vendors, attendees can enjoy live music, a Kids Corner, demonstrations, and a baby show.
The feature band this year will be Braintapes, an alternative rock band based out of Nashville. It consists of Drew D’Oliveira, Daniel Dolive, Callie McFee, Stephen Roberts, and Griffin Winton.
The baby show will begin at 10 a.m. It is open to boys and girls from 6 months to 4 years old. The fee is $25 per child and $25 for twins. Contestants are asked to arrive in front of the Chamber by 9:30 a.m. to ensure the event will begin on time at 10 a.m. Applications to enter the Baby Show can be picked up at Ashley’s Attic, The Cat’s Meow, Kathy’s of McMinnville and Pretty Things.
Kids Corner will have inflatables for children young and old.
Autumn Street Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Main Street and around Court Square.
