Digging into the past has unearthed memories for local residents, from a popular hangout spot for teenagers to a program called mother’s patrol. The memories have surfaced thanks to the Standard’s Back to the ’60s Bash set for tomorrow at Warren County Fairgrounds. The all-day event begins at 11 a.m. and is designed to entertain the entire family. There’s an inflatable park for the kids, food, music, salute to veterans, car show, Elvis impersonator, and even a cornhole tournament. In preparation for the event, the Standard has taken a look back at the 1960s in recent editions.
