The Warren County Middle School baseball team lost its season opener March 5. The Pioneers haven’t lost since.Warren County ran its winning streak to five in a row last week with a 13-2 win over Coffee County Wednesday and a 12-2 victory over White County Friday.Warren County (5-1) improved to 2-0 in the Central Tennessee Conference in the process as Friday’s win over White County counted toward the conference standings. The Pioneers were an offensive juggernaut in each game, while coach David Martin also got sensational performances on the mound.Warren County piled up 19 hits Wednesday against Coffee County, led by a 5-for-5 night for Lucas Rogers.Rogers started a four-run first for the Pioneers with an RBI single to score Isaac Golden, then proceeded to get hits in the second, fourth, sixth and seventh innings.Golden was a plate setter all night as the Pioneer lead-off batter finished with four hits, scored three times and added an RBI.Trayton Rackley was right behind on offense, supplying three hits and three RBIs.
