WCMS volleyball wraps up successful season

The Warren County Middle School volleyball team found success all season, so it was no surprise to see the Lady Pioneers end their year in impressive fashion Saturday in the Pioneer Playday tournament held at Charlie Dalton Gym.Warren County won back-to-back games before falling in the championship game to Cornerstone. The wins improved to the Lady Pioneers to 16-5 this season, the second-best record in school history.Coach Farrah Griffith has praised her group all year for their ability to see the court and work together. Those traits were on display on the final day of play, when Griffith believed her team was playing at its highest level.“The success this season is tied to the way the team played together as a unit,” said Griffith.
