Every number coming from Tuesday’s game between the Warren County Middle School football team and Franklin North Middle School pointed the Pioneers way . . . except the numbers that matter the most.Powered by a 79-yard touchdown run from talented tailback Jarious Johnson in the final minute, the Gators beat the Pioneers 30-28. It was one of four touchdowns by Johnson as he carried the Gators to victory. Johnson accounted for 227 yards on the ground, including touchdown runs of 80, 79 and 62 yards, and added a 99-yard kickoff return touchdown.Coach Donnie Harris, who saw his team run 62 plays to Franklin North’s 23 and hold the Gators to three first downs, realized how much of a difference maker Johnson was in the outcome.“It’s a tough loss because it was one of the best team performances I’ve been a part of as a coach,” said Harris.
