WCMS coach Holly Palombo reports that the middle school volleyball team lost two games on the road recently.

The Lady Pioneers played Harris Middle in Shelbyville last Thursday and lost 2-1, and the JV won against Harris 3-0.

Warren County traveled to Coffee County on Monday and the varsity lost in two straight sets, 2-0, and the JV lost 2-1.

Coach Palombo said, “The JV had some great moments, but there was a lack of communication between the front and back row. Varsity tried to make a comeback in the second set behind the serves of Abby Graves.”

The middle school Lady Pioneer volleyball was at home Tuesday night as the Southern Standard was going to print.
