If the Warren County Middle School girls softball team is going to repeat as Central Tennessee Conference champions, the Lady Pioneers will have to do it with an entirely different lineup.Coach Gooby Martin will have nine new starters this season after the girls who helped the team finish 21-6 and earn the CTC tournament title last year have moved on to the high school.Coach Martin is optimistic his young Lady Pioneers can be productive despite having very few players with varsity experience.“We are a very young team. We only have three eighth-graders and just a handful of players who played varsity last season,” said Martin. “We lost some very productive girls, both offensively and defensively.
