WCMS girls fall to Lady Bobcats in opener
Nautica-BrownWEB
Warren County Lady Pioneer Nautica Brown, left, works around Tullhoma West defender Sierra Neese in the home opener of 7-8 grade basketball Thursday night.
The Warren County Middle School Lady Pioneers played host to the Tullahoma West Lady Bobcats Thursday, dropping their season opener, 44-23.An affinity for taking and making the 3-pointer was just one of the challenges the Lady Bobcats presented. West made eight 3-pointers during the contest, five by Charleigh Scott alone, and was deadly accurate in its fast and furious offense and defense. By moving the ball into position quickly, the Lady Bobcats had open lanes to shoot from.Adding to Warren County Middle School’s woes was an inability to convert fouls into points.
