The Lady Pioneers beat White County 7-1 in the CTC tournament play-in game - the third win over White County in two weeks for the team - but lost 2-0 to Tullahoma in the semifinals and fell in the consolation game against Coffee County in a sudden-death shootout.Coach Matt Walker talked to his team after the season ended, ensuring the Lady Pioneers the season was a huge success.“I explained to the girls after the game that despite not winning another title, they accomplished the goal that the middle school places on them. Our job at WCMS is to prepare these young girls to become young ladies and dominate at the high school level,” said Walker.
