The WCHS volleyball team improved its record to 18-6 on Tuesday with a win over district rival Rhea County.The Lady Pioneers won in straight games at Charlie Dalton Gym, 25-9, 25-13, 25-15.“It was another great district win,” said WCHS coach Katie Rogers. “We did a very good job of being aggressive at the net and not letting off the throttle. I was very proud of Beth Vaughn, a sophomore, for stepping up and playing very well in Marah’s place.”Vaughn has taken the spot of junior Marah Wanamaker who was lost for the season with a wrist injury.Warren County was strong in every phase against Rhea County.
