After another woeful shooting night in Manchester, Lady Pioneers coach Erick Baird may recommend the rims be examined in Coffee County before Warren County returns next season.Warren County couldn’t seem to hit any shot, short or long, against the Lady Raiders on Friday night as the team totaled seven points in the first three quarters before ultimately falling 32-20 in its District 6-AAA opener.Coach Baird didn’t have to think long as to why his team suffered its sixth loss in the last seven games after beginning the season 9-2.“We couldn’t get our offense going or find any rhythm,” said Baird. “It was a physical game and it’s always a tough place to play. It has been the last three times we have played them there.”Despite having the leading scorer in the district coming into the game, Warren County never found a way to put the ball in the basket.Lauren Wilkinson, who entered Friday’s action averaging 18.7 points per game, was held to seven points and three of those came on a late 3-pointer after the game was already decided.The Lady Pioneers had revenge on their mind when they entered the gym in Coffee County Friday night.
