The Warren County High School soccer team was defeated by the Cookeville Cavaliers, a team which hasn’t lost a district game since 2010, in the 6-AAA championship at Cookeville High School on Thursday night.The Pioneers failed to deny the Cavaliers their seventh straight district championship, falling 4-0. The Pioneers never got anything going offensively, despite having some decent shots.With the loss, the Warren County season isn’t over as the Pioneers will travel to take on the Cleveland Blue Raiders (14-2-3), in the first game of the regional tournament Tuesday.The Pioneer defense stood its ground in the first half, allowing the Cavaliers to score only a goal on their home turf. Warren County trailed by a slim margin, 1-0, at the half.
