Warren County High School will be playing two Hall of Champions basketball games at home this week.
Tuesday night’s game with Community High School has been moved to Saturday at 2 p.m. Moore County’s basketball game for Friday night was canceled because Moore County’s football team plays that night in the TSSAA playoffs.
The new games schedules are as follows:
Friday Night
Warren County girls and boys vs. Franklin Road Christian. Girls tipoff at 6 p.m.
Saturday Afternoon
Warren County girls and boys vs. Community High School. Girls tipoff at 2 p.m.
Warren County athletic director Todd Willmore stated, “Due to COVID and the concerns it has brought, we plan to open these two events to immediate families of players only. In addition, we expect all spectators to wear masks or face coverings and maintain an appropriate social distance from other spectators not in their family unit. We also anticipate the media being present to cover the games. Our goal is to give our basketball teams an opportunity to participate in a much-needed game atmosphere against competition as well as prepare for a capacity crowd of 600 for our opening regular season games scheduled for Monday and Tuesday of next week.”
Warren County is expected to play host to DeKalb County on Monday and Cannon County on Tuesday night. Tickets will be sold on gofan.com and limited to 600. Tipoff for both games is 6 p.m.
