Warren County JROTC Raiders perform well at nationals

The Warren County JROTC Raiders scale a wall obstacle during this past weekends National Raiders competition.
The Warren County JROTC Raiders successfully competed in Raider Nationals this past weekend and finished 13th out of 25 teams in their division.The Raider Nationals are to Raider competitions what the Super Bowl is to the NFL. Events were held at Gerald Lawhorn Scouting Base in Molena, Ga., with 80 teams and 1,100 cadets competing.“The team finished the weekend with an overall ranking of 13th,” said JROTC 1st Sgt. Timothy Howard. “They placed in the top 10 on the rope bridge category and worked extremely hard. I am pleased with their effort.”Training for the event was grueling.
