Verdel is Standard 's Pioneer of the Week

Senior Carmen Verdel celebrated senior night last week with four goals in an 8-0 victory over DeKalb County.
The Southern Standard, partnering with R3 Logistics and Mud Bums Family Sports Grill, we will be honoring a Pioneer of the Week throughout the 2023-24 school year. Our honoree from Sept. 24 - Sept. 30 is WCHS senior soccer star Carmen Verdel.
