Chris Vella was the top overall finisher in the third annual Mountain Crawl. Vella, a Chattanooga resident, completed the two-mile run, 7.4-mile bike and six-mile kayak session in 1:47:33.
Traditional triathlons weren’t enough for Warren County. Looking to take advantage of the local terrain, the third annual McMinnville Mountain Crawl drew a crowd over the weekend as participants got a chance to run, bike and kayak the area.Chris Vella made the trek from Chattanooga to claim the event’s overall top time. Vella finished the two-mile run, 7.4-mile bike and six-mile kayaking course in 1:47:33.
