Tourney to help Project Graduation

Raising money for Project Graduation can be as simple as taking a golf swing.McMinnville Country Club will be holding the Project Graduation golf tournament Friday, April 11 starting at 10 a.m. As one of the biggest fundraisers for Project Graduation – a post-graduation night of entertainment that features games, gifts and other goodies – the golf tournament has the backing of several local businesses and will feature some of the best local golfers.Only six slots are available for four-member teams, with the cost being $300 per team. Players, who can also register individually for $75, will be competing for a number of prizes, along with the opportunity to win a car with a hole-in-one. Kidd Ford has offered a vehicle as a potential prize if anybody makes a hole-in-one on a specified par-3 at the local course.The event has three championship sponsors – River Park Hospital, First National Bank and the Warren County Sheriff’s Department’s drug task force.
