If you want to see the Vols take on the Blue Raiders tomorrow, you don’t have to drive to Knoxville.At Bobby Ray football field, the Vols and Blue Raiders will face one another in two different championship games as the Warren County Youth Football League comes to a close.In the 7-8-year-old Midget League, the undefeated Blue Raiders will face the Vols for the second time this season. The Blue Raiders, who haven’t lost in over two years, won the first meeting 16-6 this season.Behind the strong play of QB Clay Thompson and RB C.J. Taylor, the Blue Raiders are hoping to claim a second championship. The Vols, who feature a solid backfield tandem of QB Joseph Lanier and RB Jayln Mart, hope to knock off the undefeated Blue Raiders for the title.The Midget League championship is scheduled to start at noon.In the 11-12-year-old Senior Pro championship, it’s the Vols who are the undefeated favorites for the tournament title.The Vols, led by former WCMS coach Bill Harris, are powered by QB A.D. Majors and the running of Tyree Ladet and Raleigh Woods.The Blue Raiders hope to topple the Vols with a balanced attack that includes multi-purpose back Isaiah Grayson and speedy tailback Peppi Miller.The Vols won the regular season meeting 42-12.
