The 7-8 Pioneers have had Nov. 4 circled on their calendars all year. Earning a bid to the Southern Middle Tennessee Youth Football Association Super Bowl was the only goal and Saturday, the Pioneers punched their ticket.Led by a stifling defense and Treyvion Mathis’ running, the Pioneers outlasted Fayetteville 8-6 to earn a spot in this Saturday’s Super Bowl in Moore County.“We were awesome on defense,” said coach Steve Weeter. “We grinded it out.
