Christ Presbyterian Academy wasn’t just the defending state champion the Warren County High School girls basketball team faced Thursday in the Midstate Christmas tournament at Ezell Harding High School. CPA is the back-to-back state championship powerhouse that has stormed through the AA division and won 66 games the last two years.To the Lady Pioneers though, CPA is just another signature win for their program. Behind 15 points from junior Brittany Myers, Warren County won its opening round game of the Midstate Christmas tournament 43-36 over the two-time defending state champions.
