For the second straight year, Christian Locke will compete in the state cross country meet. Locke qualified for the Nov. 4 event by finishing second in last week's regional event held at Camp Jordan in East Ridge.Locke stood out in a field of 116 runners by completing the 5K event in 17 minutes, 27 seconds. His time was only eclipsed by Red Bank's Cole Bullock, who finished in 16:43.Only the top four fastest regional runners were guaranteed to move on Tuesday.
