Youth Basketball Sign-ups

Sign-ups are currently under way for McMinnville Youth Basketball, formerly Jaycee Basketball. Sign-ups are taking place at the Civic Center during regular business hours until Sept. 30. The cost is $35 per player. There are age groups for boys from 8-18 and for girls from 8-19. The season begins Saturday, Nov. 11, with games to be played at Bobby Ray and the Civic Center. Little Pioneer League

Registration for the Little Pioneer League has begun with a cost of $35 per player. The league is open to children ages 4-7. Sign-ups are taking place from 5 to 7 p.m. on the following nights at the Civic Center: Monday Sept. 18, Thursday Sept. 21, Monday Sept. 25, and Thursday Sept. 28. In addition, there are sign-ups from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 23 and Saturday Sept. 30.

Golf Scramble

The Warren County High School 3-Point Club is holding its 8th annual golf scramble Friday, Sept. 29, at McMinnville Country Club. There will be a 2 p.m. shotgun start. The cost is $300 per team or $75 per person. Donations are accepted. A putting contest is $5 and Mulligan’s and playing from the red tee are $5 each.
