May Mania basketball camp

WCHS basketball coach Shea Panter will hold May Mania basketball camp on May 29-30 at Warren County High School. The camp is open to boys and girls who will be in K-8 grade next year. The camp will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. The cost is $30 for one day, or $50 for two days (no sibling discounts).

Each camper will need to bring a lunch. The first 75 campers to sign up will receive a basketball. Apparel and concessions will be available. Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 29. For more information, contact coach Panter at panters@warrenschools.com.

WCHS freshman basketball tryouts

Tryouts for the freshman boys basketball team will be held Friday, May 25 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the WCHS auxiliary gym. For more information, contact Chris Sullens at sullensc@warrenschools.com or Stephen Glenn at glenns@warrenschools.com.

Warren County volleyball tryouts

Tryouts for the WCMS volleyball team will be held Friday, May 18 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. at WCMS gym. Tryouts for the WCHS volleyball team will be held Friday, May 25 from 1-2:30 p.m. at WCHS gym.

WCMS softball tryouts

Tryouts will be held for the WCMS softball team May 21-22 from 5-8 p.m. Tryouts will take place on the WCHS softball field.

WCMS baseball tryouts

The Warren County Middle School baseball team will hold tryouts Saturday, May 26. The tryout is open to players who will be in 7-8 grade next year. Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and will be followed by a parent and player meeting at 9:30 a.m.

The tryout will be in two sessions, 10 a.m. to noon and 2-4 p.m. All players will participate in both sessions.

Her-Icanes Car wash

The 14-U Her-Icanes will hold a car wash Saturday, May 19 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Advance Auto. The team will also be selling Dr Pepper products and hot dogs.

The money raised will go toward funding the team's trip to the World Series in July.
