Call it the calm before the storm.It’s not that sound isn’t being made – oftentimes a deafening roar takes hold of Neyland Stadium when the Pride of the Southland Band makes its march down Shields-Watkins Field. But in that moment just before the Pride splits into the Power T, there’s just enough time to collect yourself and realize it’s football time in Tennessee. Then everybody goes crazy.Those few seconds are what I patiently wait for every summer.
