Wesley Sherrell wanted to put on a show at his old school.A former Irving College student, Sherrell returned to Tiger country on Tuesday night as a member of the WCMS basketball team. Sherrell was at the top of his game, scoring 15 points, to help the Pioneers remain unbeaten with a 47-21 victory over Irving College in 5-6 grade basketball.The win improves WCMS to 4-0, while Irving College falls to 2-3.Tanner Wanamaker led Irving College in scoring with a game-high 17 points. He had his jump shot falling and he also added seven foul shots.WCMS established control at the end of the first quarter thanks to a scoring burst from Sherrell, who scored 11 points in the first quarter alone.
