Brittany Shannon hasn’t gotten the chance to call timeout since taking over as Boyd Christian School’s athletic director June 1.She’s been scrambling to fill two coaching vacancies at the school, one of which needs to be filled immediately.“Our coaches are all volunteer so it’s for the love of the game,” said Shannon, who is entering her third year as a teacher at Boyd. As athletic director, she’s overseeing a sports program that’s grown to include seven sports – basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, cross country, golf, and archery.“We have a pretty diversified sports program,” said Shannon. “We want to have something for everyone.
