Representing Tennessee

The Warren County Middle School football team continues to add representatives on state teams.
After having three players qualify to play in the Tennessee vs. Kentucky Future Stars game, six Pioneers were named to Team Tennessee recently for the Junior Prep Nation Tennessee vs. Georgia game.
Justin Holt, Josh Hobbs, Noah Campbell, Logan Dyer, Brendan Breedlove and Ethan Stuart were each chosen among 100 players who tried out at Chattanooga Red Bank High School in May to represent Tennessee in a game to be played June 29 in Chattanooga.
It was the second selections for both Campbell and Stuart, who left Wednesday to begin practice for the Future Stars game to be played this Saturday at Knoxville Catholic High School. Also making the trip to Knoxville for the Future Stars game were Pioneer standout Krojhn Calbert and WCHS freshman football coach Greg Cotten.
Joining Campbell and Stuart as selections for the Junior Prep Nation game are linemen Justin Holt and Josh Hobbs, wide receiver Logan Dyer and linebacker Brendan Breedlove.
Holt was an alternate selection for the Future Stars game, but was one of 33 players selected to play for Tennessee against Georgia in two weeks. Holt and Hobbs will each spend time playing on the line, just as they did last year for Warren County Middle School.
Holt and Hobbs hope to open holes against Georgia that Breedlove may get a chance to run through and protect their quarterback so Campbell and Dyer can make plays on the outside.
Breedlove was the short-yardage back for the Pioneers last week, but he really shined on defense. Breedlove played a number of positions and excels at linebacker.
Campbell and Dyer are both playmakers at wide receiver as well as dangerous defensive backs. Both played extensively on each side of the ball for the Pioneers last season.
The six Pioneers will make the trip to Chattanooga in two weeks and will go through practice before game day on Saturday, June 29. The practices and game, which will begin at 1 p.m., will be held at Chattanooga Red Bank High School.
