The start of Tuesday’s day game at Nunley Stadium was a dream scenario for the Pioneers. The rest of the contest was a nightmare.The Warren County Middle School football team opened play with a scoring drive to take an early lead, but Coffee County responded to by scoring five straight touchdowns in a 38-14 romp.Warren County (1-3) excited the WCMS student body, which packed the home stands, when it marched straight down the field after the opening kickoff. Quarterback Devin Jordan paved the path when he broke out on a long run, setting the Pioneers up deep in Red Raider territory.Josh Macanas did the rest as he took a hand-off and went around the edge for a score.
