Local runner Sue Scholl is taking the idea of a friendly jog to a new extreme.Scholl is planning a 100-mile run later this month as a fundraiser for one of her friends who has cancer.“My goal is to get finished in under 24 hours,” said Scholl, the owner of Hobbs Green-house. “I will walk some. I can’t run the whole time.”Scholl, 40, says she will begin her trek Friday night, Feb. 15, at 6 p.m. Her course is the 1.12-mile loop on the four roads around McMinn-ville Civic Center.Her start-finish line will be at West Elementary, which is where she will park her car and have a station for water and snacks.
