After football practice at the high school on Wednesday, I walked into Pioneer football head coach Matt Turner’s office to discuss Friday night’s game against DeKalb County. His office was full of coaches, including middle school football head coach Ben Matheney. The discussion shifted to why the middle school postponed its game for Thursday night at Franklin North.
