New Warren County High School football coach Scott Smith has been on his team ever since the final second ticked off the clock in Smithville last week.Celebrating a season-opening 34-30 victory over DeKalb County was cut short the moment coach Smith got his team together after the game. Incensed by 17 penalties, a costly turnover and allowing two touchdowns in the final minute of play, coach Smith started rallying his team immediately to clean up mistakes that could make the difference in winning and losing the rest of the year.Shelbyville coach Jason Hardy has been giving the same speech this week.The Golden Eagles are coming off a 40-26 loss to Marshall County, one that featured many of the same miscues Warren County made last week.
