Rarely do the Warren County High School girls and boys soccer teams have a chance to prove on the field which is best. This is one of those rare years. The Lady Pioneers and Pioneers will meet on the soccer field today at Warren County High School for a scrimmage to help raise money for the soccer programs. The game, which begins at 1:30 p.m., has been promoted at school this week as students have been able to buy a ticket for $1. The general public is also welcome to attend and will be able to make donations.Ticket sales are going great as nearly half the student body is expected to be in attendance.Coach Todd Willmore set up the scrimmage last week and his two teams have used Facebook to promote the rare game.Several members of each team seem confident of their team’s abilities, but are quick to point out the game is just for fun.Junior Lady Pioneer Kimba Warden wanted to let the boys know the girls are more than ready to win today.“Even though it’s been awhile since our season, we’re still ready to play,” said Warden.
