Miami Marlins pitcher Bryan Morris can trace his baseball career back to McMinnville, where he’ll make his return in November.Morris will be the guest speaker at the Covenant Academy banquet and auction held Saturday, Nov. 15. Morris will do an autograph session at 5:30 p.m. and will speak later in the night at Covenant Academy.Covenant Academy headmaster Alan Smith is delighted to have Morris returning to McMinnville to speak to local community members about baseball, life and faith.“Bryan has local ties and we’ve always wanted guys like him, Jamie Walker and Cody Robinson to make it big. It shows it can be done here and he can speak about what it takes,” said Smith.
