The Warren County High School football cheerleaders will be holding a Mini Pioneer cheer clinic Saturday, Sept. 17 at Charlie Dalton Gym. The camp is offered for kids starting at age 3 and going up to current fifth graders. The cost is $30.

The focus of the camp will be on team building, jumps, cheer technique, WCHS chants and a small routine. Registration will be from 7:30-8 a.m. and the camp will run from 8-11 a.m. Campers are asked to wear shorts, a T-shirt and tennis shoes. Hair should be in a ponytail as well.

Every participant in camp will receive free admission into the Sept. 23 Pioneer football game against Siegel, where they will be able to cheer at Nunley Stadium. Campers will need to arrive at the football game at 5:30 p.m. for a check-in before going through warm-ups at 5:45 p.m.

Between 6:15-6:30 p.m., group performances will begin. During the third quarter, the participants will get a chance to perform (with times based on ages).

For more information on the camp or to register, reach out to coach Amanda Hargis at hargisa@warrenschools.com.
