All eyes were on Mary Ella Lee on Monday night. Lee was in the batter’s box in bottom of the sixth inning of a 15-15 game with the bases loaded and two outs.A hit by Lee meant a tournament championship for McMinnville Aluminum Vinyl Supply, but an out meant extra innings.Lee came through with the biggest hit of her young career, driving a single through the infield to score Kylie Fann and propel the MAVS to a 16-15 victory over TN Warehouse.TN Warehouse had forced Monday night’s if-necessary game by defeating the MAVS 20-8 last Friday. TN Warehouse wanted to leave Monday with a sweep of the girls 7-8-year-old machine-pitch league, having already won the regular-season championship.The MAVS denied TN Warehouse the chance to pull off the title sweep though, getting a great performance from Lee to win.Lee led the MAVS with five hits, scored five runs and had a very important RBI. The RBI came on her final at-bat, where she came through with her fourth single.Fann set up the spectacular finish with a single to begin the bottom of the sixth.
