Bridgestone employees got a treat Monday when Middle Tennessee State University girls basketball coach Rick Insell visited as the guest speaker for the Principle Centered Leadership Conference.Insell, also a longtime coach at Shelbyville High School, spoke at length about his Lady Raider basketball program, what type of players he recruited to bring to his team and how he provides leadership on and off the court. Bridgestone employees and special guests were treated to stories about the Lady Raiders, who have reached the NCAA tournament and have won their conference (five Sun Belt championships and last year’s Conference USA title) in each of the last six seasons. Insell took over the program in 2005-06 and has since won over 250 games.
